National rugby team continues preparations for Asian Championship

AMMAN — The national rugby team continued their preparations for the Asian Rugby Sevens Championships during a preparatory tournament held recently at the University of Petra Stadium. Four teams participated in the tournament: Nomads, Citadel, Sosruka, and Saracens. The national team was crowned the Arab Cup in 2019 and had previously participated in the Asian Rugby Sevens Championship, which was held in Singapore at the time. The 2022 Asian Rugby Sevens Championships will be held in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta next August.
