CAPE TOWN – The South African Parliament voted on Tuesday evening in favor of closing the Israeli embassy, expelling the Israeli ambassador, and cutting ties with the occupying state.

Amad media reported that the vote was with a majority of 248 votes in favor and 91 opposing the decision to close the Israeli embassy in Pretoria and cut diplomatic relations with Israel until it complies with international legitimacy decisions regarding Palestine.
