SSIF to invest 26% in Aqaba-Amman water project

AMMAN — Social Security Investment Fund’s contribution to the National Water Carrier Project will amount to 26 percent of the cost, according to Al-Rai News.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Water and Irrigation will issue a report regarding the economic feasibility of the project after which the SSIF will present its contribution to the entity that wins the bid to carry out the project.

SSIF had announced its intention to invest in the National Water Carrier Project (Aqaba–Amman), which is slated to desalinate Red Sea water transport it to Amman.
