Speaking at the meeting, the ministry's Secretary-General, head of the Jordanian team, Mamoun Deebi, stressed the Kingdom's "deep-rooted, fraternal and historical" relations with GCC countries.

He also pointed to Jordan's readiness to move forward by activating joint action with GCC nations in the higher education and scientific research fields.

Briefing participants on Jordan's higher education development, especially in the legislation field and public-private universities, he referred to specializations taught at the Kingdom's universities that have gained global certification, which reflects the sector's progress and excellence.

After the dialogue, the attendees agreed to task the Jordanian side to outline draft executive programs and memoranda of understanding (MoU) to frame joint cooperation mechanisms in the higher education field, which should prioritize the main axes of academic, student, research collaboration, and expertise exchange.

According to a ministry statement, the Jordanian team should submit these programs' details to GCC General Secretariat within two months. اضافة اعلان
