According to TRC, this test is the first of its kind for the American company in the Middle East, where the Starlink service is still unavailable.

This satellite Internet service is currently available in the US, Canada, much of Europe, Australia, Japan, and parts of South America, according to an interactive map of the world on the Starlink website.

TRC welcomed the fact that technical tests of telecommunication services were conducted in sparsely populated, remote areas where he internet is not currently available.

SpaceX started launching Starlink satellites in 2019. By September 2022, Starlink had over 3,000 mass-produced small satellites in low Earth orbit, which communicate with designated ground transceivers.
