AMMAN —The Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) and the
Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) signed a memorandum of cooperation to launch a
national initiative to upscale Jordanian factories' online promotion and sale
by employing young people across the Kingdom.
The initiative is titled "Electronic
Internationalization of Jordanian Factories," the Jordan News Agency,
Petra, reported.
The memorandum intends to use CPF's platform for the
national youth engagement and volunteering program, Nahno, and allow
participants to apply their knowledge and skills on a volunteering basis. This
enhances their chances of entering the labor market as qualified employees or
business owners.
The initiative includes launching a comprehensive service
program for online promotion and sale that provides guidance and training to
create top-grade promotional materials. Young people's role will be to help
make these materials after receiving proper guidance from professionals in the
field, according to a statement by the ACI.
The memorandum also stipulates hiring liaison officers to
follow up on the work progress and forming specialized joint teams to work on
each program the two sides agree upon.
Director General of the ACI Nael Al-Husami said the
agreement would boost cooperation and leverage the CPF's Nahno platform, noting
that online marketing has become one of the key promotion methods.
CPF's Executive Director Tamam Mango highlighted the
foundation's commitment to cooperating with stakeholders to drive youth across
the Kingdom toward innovation and leadership, and technical and professional
work under the directives of HRH Crown Prince Hussein.اضافة اعلان
