Israeli settler infiltrates Jordan border, held for questioning by authorities

AMMAN — An Israeli media source reported that an Israeli settler infiltrated the Kingdom by crossing the border illegally on Saturday. He was since detained by Jordanian security forces, according to Khaberni.  اضافة اعلان

The source said that the settler is being questioned by the Jordanian authorities.

In an unrelated development, the National Committee for Jordanian Prisoners and Missing Persons in Israeli Occupation Detention Centers reported on Saturday that an agreement was presented by the Israel Prison Service to Palestinian prisoners of Jordanian nationality to transfer them to the Kingdom's prisons to complete their sentences, according to Khaberni News.

Thus far, four prisoners have agreed to the offer out of 18 Jordanian prisoners, most of whom are serving long sentences with some sentenced to life, said the report, which has not been verified by Jordan’s Foreign Ministry, Khaberni said added.
