Rainfall has been reported on the Desert Road from Al-Hasa in Maan Governorate to the Ras Al-Naqab station, while fog has formed near the Unaizah station and the back road to Aqaba, Wadi Araba, Al-Jafr, Al-Mudawwarah, Al-Shidiyah, and Batn Al-Ghoul, with visibility ranging between 100m and 200m in some places, Hala News reported.

However, all highways are currently passable, the patrol stated.

Monday morning, the authorities and road crews responded to high water levels at Al-Husseiniyah Bridge affecting traffic movement from Amman towards Tafileh, according to an officer at the operations room, who said that the excess water was removed and the road has been cleared for traffic.

Meanwhile, in Amman, most central and southern neighborhoods have been witnessing light rainfall, and no obstacles have been reported on the roads.

The PSD called on the public to take “extreme caution” while driving in areas affected by rainfall and fog.
