The syndicate cross-references all complaints
and invoices received with previous appraisal values, stating that the receipts
received had appraisal
values ranging between 50–70 percent.
Allan stated that these values are
“unacceptable” and “intolerable”, and are beyond what vendors and individuals
are able to bear.
The syndicate, he added, “would not
stand silent under the
direct threat to vendors”.
The syndicate is expected to announce
its position on the topic on Sunday after a board meeting, he added.
