Minister unveils plans for environmental park at Dibeen Forest Reserve

AMMAN — The Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Hneifat, announced on Tuesday that there is a plan to construct a new environmental park in the Dibeen Forest Reserve. اضافة اعلان

The park will be run by internal staff, he added, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.

During a tour of Jerash Governorate, the minister emphasized the importance of tourism development in the area. He discussed the role of municipalities in organizing on-site hiking mechanisms, preserving the ecosystem, and supporting sustainable forest development.

He also highlighted the importance of cooperation with civil society institutions to raise awareness about the protection of the reserve.

The Dibeen Forest Reserve, which covers an area of 8.5sq.km., is located in the northwest region of Jordan. The reserve is known for its diverse landscape and rich biodiversity.

It is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as hiking and bird watching.

The Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature manages the reserve and works to protect the area's natural resources and promote sustainable development.
