Rainfall boosts overall precipitation volume to 48% of annual average

AMMAN — The Ministry of Water and Irrigation reported on Wednesday that recent rainfall has increased the overall volume of precipitation since the start of the wet season to 48 percent of the Kingdom’s annual average of 8.1 billion cubic meters. According to a ministry statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the governorate of Ajloun received the largest amount of rainfall in the past 24 hours with 77mm. Additionally, 2 million cubic meters were directed into Jordan's dams during the latest depression. According to a ministry statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the governorate of Ajloun received the largest amount of rainfall in the past 24 hours with 77mm.

Additionally, 2 million cubic meters were directed into Jordan's dams during the latest depression.
