AMMAN — Minister of Education Azmi
Mahafzah decided to suspend schools across Jordan on Tuesday, February 7, due
to weather conditions, which are predicted to include heavy rainfall, the Jordan
News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to the Jordan Meteorological
Department’s forecast for Tuesday, the Kingdom is likely to witness very cold
temperatures, wind, and rain in the northern and central areas, accompanied by
thunder and hail at times.
Snowfall is predicted for mountain heights
1000 meters above sea level and above, and in the late night hours, limited
snowfall may be witnessed at 900 meters and above, Khaberni reported.
