— Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman
Safadi, met with the CEO of the American Jewish Committee, Ted Deutsch, and
emphasized the necessity of acting to stop Israeli unilateral measures.

During
a meeting on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Saturday,
Safadi stressed the importance of returning to serious and effective
negotiations, and intensifying efforts to achieve a just peace based on the
two-state solution.
Safadi
also discussed with his Czech counterpart, Jan Lipavský, ways to expand the
prospects of bilateral cooperation between Jordan and the Czech Republic in
various fields, as well as many issues of common interest within the framework
of the partnership with the EU.
Safadi
also held a meeting with Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anniken
Huitfeldt and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between Jordan
and Norway in various fields, as well as regional and international issues,
including the Palestinian cause.
