AMMAN — The Islamic Action Front, an
Islamist political party in Jordan, said that it is “following with concern”
the news about the security meeting being held
today in Aqaba, stressing that it
considers the meeting a form of “normalization with the occupation’s stifling
of Palestinian resistance”, Amman Net reported.

In a statement, the party said it believes
that Jordan's hosting of the meeting “contradicts (the Kingdom’s) official stance
and warnings against the dangers of the fascist
Zionist occupation government
and its projects that target Jordanian national security and assault the
Jordanian custodianship over Jerusalem sanctities”.
The party condemned the Kingdom’s hosting
of the security summit as serving the goals of the occupation, “which only
understands the language of force to stop its aggression against the
Palestinian people, land, and sanctities”, according to the statement.
The party also highlighted “the need for
the official position to be consistent with the popular position to cut off all
forms of
normalization with the occupation and to support the steadfastness and
resistance of the Palestinian people”.
