In an interview with Al-Hurra news, Stroul
said that efforts to thwart Iranian threats “require the enhancement of
multilateral regional cooperation”, Khaberni reported.
Stroul stressed that "military options
for countering Iran are always ready for whenever US President Joe Biden should
request them," noting that Washington is seeking to form with its allies
"a joint defensive and missile system to deter Iran".
During his visit to the region, Austin will
also discuss the situation in Palestine, Stroul said.
