Awadallah, Sharif Hassan indicted, to stand trial before SSC

AMMAN — The prosecutor general at the State Security Court (SSC) on Wednesday finalized the indictment list regarding the two prime suspects in the so-called “sedition case”, who will stand trial accordingly before the court.اضافة اعلان

The Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported that the charge list was referred to the attorney general at SSC, to pursue the legal action against Bassem Awadallah, a former senior official, and Sharif “Abdul-Rahman Hassan” Al Hashem, who were implicated in a plot against the “security and stability of Jordan”.

No details about the charges were revealed.

Charges against the other suspects in the case were dropped by a Royal pardon.
