Royal Jordanian (RJ)
Vice-Chairman/CEO Samer Majali said that all the old RJ aircraft will be
replaced with modern planes by the beginning of the summer of 2025, according
to a local news outlet.

Majali said that the first new aircraft will join
the RJ fleet at the end of next year, as two Embraer E2 planes will be replaced
with the latest models, three planes at the beginning of 2024 and one plane in
2025, adding that the RJ fleet will be enlarged.
He also said that the current Airbus aircraft will
be replaced with new ones at the beginning of 2024.
Majali said that the number of RJ passengers since
the beginning of this year reached the pre-COVID-19 pandemic levels; in 2019,
2.5 million passengers were transported by RJ.
