JEA head, Ahmed Khudari, in a statement on Saturday, carried by the Jordan News
Agency, Petra, said the visit is being arranged in cooperation with the
Georgian Embassy in Jordan and aims to enable Jordanian companies to learn
about Georgia's market.
Through this knowledge, he added, local companies can open the
door to a new export market, and promote investment opportunities available in
the Kingdom.
During the economic delegation's visit, Jordanian companies are scheduled to
hold meetings with the
Georgian private sector to brainstorm and develop ways
to enter the Georgian market.
The visit will also include talks with Georgia's government institutions to
discuss prospects for economic cooperation and opportunities to increase trade
and investment between the
two countries, he pointed out.
Khudari also stressed the importance of industrial exports in stimulating the
national economy by increasing production, expanding existing investments,
creating more job opportunities, and strengthening the Kingdom's reserves of
foreign currencies.
