Wild Jordan Center was founded in 2004 by The
Royal Society for the Conversation of Nature (
RSCN) and
ATICO Fakhreldin Group.
The center is a pioneering project, imitating nature in its design, serving locals
and visitors, and focusing on eco-tourism.

Yasmeen Gedeon, manager of the Wild Jordan
Center, discussed in an interview with
Jordan News that the center has several
departments, including The Nature Shop, The
View, The Trail, The Hub, and The Tree Room Workspace, which features a dining
area and a study spot. The center also has meeting rooms and a family café, a
favorite hangout spot for families, designed to engage children in activities that
teach them about Jordan's reserves and environment.
The center’s Lodges are long-term,
environmentally friendly units-for-rent with basic, modern atmospheres. Each space includes a bedroom, a bathroom, a living area, a balcony, a small seating area, and a kitchenette.

Supporting the socio-economic development of
local communities, The Nature Shop sells handicrafts, accessories, souvenirs,
home decorations, herbal teas, soaps, and other locally made products.
Gedeon added that, “Wild Jordan Center
provides meeting rooms that can be utilized for any sort of workshop. RSCN has
recurrently used these rooms to hold nature-related lectures and handicraft
workshops.”
The center’s menu is inspired by Jordan’s
colorful cuisine. Among the most popular dishes on the menu is the center’s Jordanian
breakfast.
Wild Jordan Center, according to the manager,
offers a seasonal menu for lunch and dinner that includes a wide variety of healthy
selections to satisfy all preferences.

“There are also vegetarian and gluten-free
options, as well as fresh cocktails and smoothies, in addition to weekly
specials and kids’ menus,” she said.
As a popular tourist destination, Wild Jordan
Center was impacted by the pandemic and has witnessed a decrease in activity.
Gedeon mentioned that, due to lockdowns, opening hours, and other restrictions,
the center’s facilities were disrupted. The pet-friendly area and the market
space are also temporarily closed.
