Applied Science Private University Launches Fourth Edition of "ASU Media Contest" Under the Theme "Media & Current Affairs"
In support of emerging media talents, Applied Science Private University (ASU) announces the launch of the fourth edition of the ASU Media Contest under the theme "Media & Current Affairs." The competition aims to highlight students' media skills, encourage creativity in various media fields, and provide a competitive environment for talent development under the guidance of renowned media experts.
Elite Panel of Judges
This year's judging panel features prominent media figures, including:
Dr. Muhannad Al-Mubaidin – Former Minister of Media
Mustafa Rayalat – Editor-in-Chief of Al-Dustour Newspaper
Fuad Al-Kersha – Anchor at Roya TV
Sonia Al-Zaghoul – Jordanian Journalist
Competition Structure
The contest consists of two main stages:
First Stage: Participants submit a video report on a current topic in areas such as technology, health, politics, education, environment, business, arts, culture, tourism, or sports. The report should reflect their unique media vision and storytelling style.
Second Stage: Finalists will go through a live performance evaluation, where they will:
Present a news bulletin prepared by the university.
Deliver a news report as an introductory segment for a TV program.
Valuable Awards
School students: Full scholarships (up to 100%) for studying Digital Media at ASU.
University students: Cash prizes.
