Jordan Ahli Bank Renews Partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Jordan

Amman, November 2024: Jordan Ahli Bank has renewed its cooperation agreement with SOS Children’s Villages Jordan, sponsoring a family house with an alternative mother providing care for five to seven children for one year in Amman Children’s Village. The support will cover part of the essential daily expenses for the children, including education, food, clothing, healthcare and extracurricular activities, among others.

On this occasion, Jordan Ahli Bank CEO/General Manager, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hussein, emphasized the significance of the partnership with SOS Children's Villages Jordan, which provides comprehensive care to children and youth without parental support, reaching an average of 444 children and young people annually through its family homes in its three villages in Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba, in addition to its supervised-independent living programs for youth.

He continued, "This agreement seeks to support a stable and nurturing family environment for children. It reflects the bank's commitment to social responsibility and supports our strategic sustainability goals, while also promoting social development and ensuring the essential care for children, including education, healthcare and a holistic upbringing.”

Rana AlZoubi, National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Jordan, highlighted the importance of this partnership, saying, “We believe that every child deserves safety and care, and these partnerships enable us to provide the best care for children."

She added, “We are proud to renew our partnership with Jordan Ahli Bank and are grateful for this collaboration and the continuous trust, which not only strengthens our mission but also reflects our shared commitment to children and our determination to prepare them for a better future.”
