PRESS RELEASEKhawarizmi University Technical College (KUTC) joined the world of smart cards through an agreement signed recently with Cairo Amman Bank to convert the IDs of university students and faculty members into "multi-use smart cards".

KUTC is the 19th university to benefit from this service, which Cairo Amman Bank excels in the local banking sector.

The agreement was signed by Cairo Amman Bank's CEO, Kamal Al-Bakri, and Dr. Mohammed Amin Al-Qudah, Chairman of the Board of KUTC.

Cairo Amman Bank has achieved a successful genuine partnership between the higher education and the economic sectors that serve the country and supports the comprehensive development process that benefits people and institutions.

The multi-use smart university card enables its holder to use it as a university ID card that allows them access to different university facilities, in addition to being a payment card that enables its holder to pay through it at all points of sale inside and outside Jordan, purchase online, and withdraw cash.

Smart university cardholders can also charge these cards through Cairo Amman Bank branches and kiosks that will be provided within universities in the near future.

This card also enables its holder to obtain discounts within a vast network of stores and commercial ventures contracted with the bank throughout the Kingdom.
