The University of Petra condemns the assault on security personnel and calls for national unity.
The University of Petra, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Rami Abdelrahim, the faculty and administrative staff, and all students, strongly condemns the brutal assault on public security personnel in the Rabiah area of the capital, Amman. The university affirms that this cowardly act is utterly rejected and does not reflect the morals and values of the Jordanians, who exemplify the highest levels of loyalty and allegiance to their country and its leader. The university also acknowledges the significant role played by public security personnel in maintaining the security of the nation and its citizens.
The university expresses its full confidence that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will remain a model of resilience and security, blessed with wise leadership and a loyal, dedicated people.
The university declares its complete solidarity with the heroic public security forces, all security agencies, and the Jordanian Armed Forces. It prays to Almighty God to protect our beloved kingdom, its leadership, and its people under the umbrella of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, may God protect and bless them all.
