AMMAN — Jordan is passing through
winter’s 40 coldest days, which will persist through mid-February. However,
there is no snow in the Kingdom’s foreseeable future, according to Jamal
Al-Mousa, weather consultant at Arabia Weather, Jo24 reported.
Mousa said that no weather depressions are
currently forming in the Mediterranean, however, he predicted that depressions
would affect the Kingdom from January 20–27.
Recent precipitation in Aqaba took the form
of hail, not snow, which is usually associated with atmospheric instability, he
noted.
