AMMAN — The
Jordan Meteorology Department (JMD) predicted that the Kingdom will witness a slight rise in
temperatures today, to reach six or seven degrees Celsius above average temperatures
for this time of the year, Hala News reported.

The department also predicted
cloudy skiesat medium and high altitudes and southeasterly winds that may raise dust in
desert areas, reducing visibility on desert roads.
Tonight,
the weather will be relatively
cold, with continued moderate southeasterly winds, according to the JMD.
Pleasant weather in coming daysDuring the day on Saturday, the JMD
predicted pleasantly hot weather in most regions of Jordan, with cloud coverage
at medium and high altitudes and active southwesterly winds causing dust,
especially in desert regions.
Saturday night, cold temperatures will
prevail, with winds and cloud formation as during the day.
For Sunday, the department predicted a
slight drop in temperatures; with pleasant weather across the Kingdom and
cloudy skies at medium and high altitudes. Moderate southwesterly winds may
give way to brisker gusts in the Badia regions, the JMD noted.
