AMMAN — Jordanian companies specializing in food industries
are set to participate in the 28th edition of the Gulfood exhibition
"
GulFood 2023," which will be held in Dubai next Monday, according
to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The
Jordan Exporters Association (JEA) will showcase the products of 31 companies specializing in
milk and dairy products, spices, coffee, meat, poultry, ice cream, chocolate,
beverages, and confectionery.
Important opportunity JEA President, Ahmad Khudari, emphasized the importance of
the event, noting that it provides an opportunity for Jordanian companies to
access promising markets, establish new trading partnerships, and turn the
Kingdom into a regional hub for food security.
The five-day exhibition is one of the largest annual food
and beverages sourcing events worldwide, with thousands of international
companies participating, and many commercial deals expected to be concluded on
its sidelines, said Khudair.
JEA Director-General Halim Abu Rahma highlighted that the
Jordanian pavilion will cover an area of 722sq.m. and the association is
committed to regularly participating in the event, given its global reputation
and significance.
He also stressed that the JEA will continue to organize
Jordanian participation in foreign exhibitions to promote national products and
enhance their presence in global markets, particularly in the US, Canada,
European countries, and Arab Gulf nations.
