Jordan Meteorological Department
(JMD) is forecasting rain showers in the far northeastern regions of Jordan's

However, on Monday, the JMD is
predicting a slight drop in temperatures as the country prepares for an
incoming
weather depression.
Rain and thunderstorms are forecast
in some areas of the Kingdom on Tuesday.
The eastern basin of the
Mediterranean Sea, including Jordan, will be affected by an air depression
accompanied by a cold and moist air mass of central Europe origin, leading to
often heavy rainfall and the formation of torrents in valleys and low areas,
including the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Residents are advised to take
necessary precautions and stay alert for potential flooding and other hazards
caused by heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
