Representatives of Maan, southern Badia refuse to meet with gov’t

AMMAN — Representatives of Maan Governorate and the southern Badia refused to meet Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh at the Prime Ministry on Sunday.اضافة اعلان

MP Eid Al-Naimat said in an interview with Khaberni that nine deputies from Maan and the southern Badia refused to attend a meeting held on Sunday at the Prime Ministry, due to "a deliberate disregard for their demands over the course of three years, and the lack of any response regarding Maan and the Badia.”

Stressing the “ineffectiveness” of the government meetings, Naimat added that the government “is absent from important national events that require its presence”.

"The government should come to Parliament to meet the deputies, instead of the deputies going to the Prime Ministry," he said.
