History of the ‘Floating University’In 1963, the “University of the Seven
Seas”, also referred to as the "Floating University", first set sail
from the port of New York.
The ship was changed in 2015, and two
cruises — one in the spring and one in the fall — are now scheduled annually.
While the autumn trip concentrates more on Europe, Africa, and South and
Central America, the spring trip typically explores Asia, Africa, and a few
European ports.
