AMMAN — The uncle of two Jordanian
brothers who have been missing since the first
earthquake hit Turkey on Monday morning said that harsh weather conditions have prevented rescue teams from
reaching the damaged residential building where the brothers live in Antakya.

No updates have been received regarding the
ongoing search for the two men, Muhannad and Ashraf Al-Tarawneh, their uncle
said in an exclusive interview with Khaberni on Wednesday.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
informed us that it is in continuous follow-up with the
Turkish side around the
clock, and the removal of rubble will take place in the coming hours," he
said.
Foreign Ministry follow-upOn Wednesday, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Sinan
Majali confirmed that the ministry has not received any new information
regarding two Jordanian brothers in the Turkish city of Antakya, Khaberni
reported.
Majali said that preliminary information
shows that the building in which the Tarawneh brothers live was damaged by one
of the
earthquakes on Monday.
The ministry is maintaining continuous contact
with the Turkish authorities around the clock regarding the case, he added.
Majali called on citizens who are traveling
to register their data and contact numbers with the Jordanian embassies in
foreign countries.
