During a training workshop at the
Amman Chamber of Industry on Sunday, Hammad provided an explanation of the fund’s
four programs, which aim to support a total of 680 industrial establishments
during the first phase, in addition to providing 4,900 job opportunities, of
which 700 are specifically designated for women.
The first program is concerned with
modernizing the industry, to be implemented through the Jordan Enterprise
Development Corporation, which will provide
small- and medium-sized industrial establishment with financing. The second program, for
export promotion, will be
implemented by the Export House Company, also for small- and medium-sized
industrial establishments.
The third program, involving export credit guarantees, will be implemented through the Jordan Loan Guarantee Company. The
fourth program will provide financial incentives to small, medium, and large
industrial establishments that achieve specific targets. All programs will
provide support in the form of grants.
The ministry launched an e-platform at the
end of November to serve those wishing to benefit from the fund, Hammad said. The
deadline for applying to the four support programs is February 28.
