Armouti calls on Lower House to reject draft budget law

AMMAN — Deputy Saleh Al-Armouti described the budget speech as “rhetorical”, “romantic”, and “provocative”, calling for the Lower House to reject it on Monday during a Lower House session. اضافة اعلان

Minister of Finance Mohamad Al-Ississ delivered the general budget draft law speech on Monday.

Armouti criticized the budget speech delivered saying it sent messages to deputies to manage their expectations, which, according to him, indicates that their demands will not be met.

Armouti added that the government did not take into account any of the recommendations the Lower House previously made.

He also criticized Ississ for saying that the Kingdom’s resources are limited, stressing that Jordan possesses many natural resources.
