Customs denies duty increases on goods in passenger possession

AMMAN — Director of Jordan's Customs Department, Gen. Jalal Al-Qudah denied rumors of increasing customs duties by 5 percent on goods in the possession of passengers. اضافة اعلان

There is “no truth” to what some news websites circulated on the matter, he said.



In a press release on Sunday, Qudah confirmed that the fees for goods in the possession of passengers remained unchanged, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He also stressed that the department's is keen to take measures to help alleviate the burden on individuals.

Qudah added that people should only trust and get their information from main sources.
